| Ian and Alex welcome you to the The Old Chapel B&B, Horseheath, our Bed & Breakfast on the borders of Cambridgeshire, Essex and Suffolk.
Recently restored and enlarged, The Old Chapel dates from 1861. The plain brick building gives the passer-by no indication of the surprising interior... a spacious, warm and peaceful home, backing onto fields and meadows.
Relax in the large but cosy drawing room, with a book chosen from the well stocked library, or snooze beside a log fire after a steam in the sauna.
Enjoy the conservatory and garden where breakfast may be served in Summertime. Lovely level country walks are to be had just over the garden fence and several superb golf courses are nearby. Easy on-road parking.
The Old Chapel Bed & Breakfast is a No Smoking home, and we are sorry but we do not accept dogs.
Horseheath is an ancient village situated on a plateau in rich farming country. The village has retained its association with horses and equestrianism. Point to Point Races run at least three times a season.
Within easy reach of Cambridge - 12 miles, Saffron Walden - 8 miles, Newmarket - 12 miles, Stansted Airport - 25 miles. Situated on the borders of Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Essex, The Old Chapel B&B is an ideal base for exploring East Anglia. |
